WHO WE ARE

Behind the Curtain

The Bromo Arts District was established in 2012 to encourage and support a thriving downtown arts neighborhood. With a continually growing art scene, our 117 acre district is home to over 30 cultural organizations and hundreds of artists and those employed through the arts.

WHAT WE DO

CURRENT WORK

In collaboration with the community, we’ve launched events like Light Up Lexington and Reel BAD Film Nights, and played host to the Charm City Fringe Festival and the Charm City Night Market. We’ve popped up throughout the district with arts organizations like Sofar Sounds, Baltimore Rock Opera Society, and Fluid Movement.

LOOKING AHEAD

We look forward to working closely with the other Baltimore City Arts & Entertainment Districts in the years to come! Visit Highlandtown, Station North, and The Black Arts District on Pennsylvania Avenue.

OUR PARTNERS

The Bromo Arts District is a program of Downtown Partnership of Baltimore. As a City Arts & Entertainment District, we are supported by the State of Maryland and the City of Baltimore. Thank you to our many partners who help make our work vibrant and successful.
